Homemade Turmeric Almond Milk

Quick Homemade Warm Turmeric Almond Milk

Equipment

  • Nutribullet or blender of your choice
  • Nut Milk Bag

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Whole Almonds Soak overnight (Optional)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Ground Nutmeg or grated whole nutmeg
  • 1/4 tbsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Blend almonds and water in Nutribullet or blender of your choice until smooth
  • Pour into nut milk bag over a large bowl and squeeze milk until you have extracted all juice
  • Strain milk and heat up on stove top for about 2-3 minutes ( Do not boil just warm up)
  • Add nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla while on stove and stir
  • Remove from heat and strain into tea cup
  • Add turmeric powder and stir until milk is golden
  • Enjoy while warm
